DIY Bold & Elegant Holiday Table Setting Made Easy.
So today I’m going to inspire you with my take on an elegant and bold Christmas table and I’m very happy to share some tips for pulling off a similar glamorous evening with panache. So ready, set, go!
Bold & Elegant Holiday Table Setting
Before doing your holiday table, it much easier, if you sort out a strategy for the overall tablescape. A holiday table should always keep you interested and I love the layering all sorts of things.
So I wanted to create a beautiful and elegant sit-down dinner but with a festive holiday vibe. The tablecloth is just so over-the-top-chic which I’ve made with fabric from STOF & STIL. The gold, black and blue colours in the rich fabric really set the tone.
Lucie Kaas Trend Collection
Here I’ve used the elegant tableware Lotus, designed by Arne Clausen from the Lucie Kaas Trend Collection – and I simply love the tone in tone shade. To me a tableware that’s just perfect for both formal and casual dinners.
After choosing your dashing tablecloth, go with a dinner plate on your tabletop now add a smaller plate followed by a Koshi or crystal candle holder. If you’re collecting the adorable Sketch.inc Kokeshi dolls from Lucie Kaas, you can place different characters on each plate as a fresh and fun touch!
I’ve used the Specktrum crystal candle holders too as another modern and subtle touch to the table. Again very simple and makes a statement with their unique designs.
A stylish table needs stylish wine glasses. I’ve chosen Italian coupe wine glasses from Luigi Bormoli, astonishing radiant fine crystal, all lead-free and eco-friendly too!
Christmas Centerpieces
Decide on your centerpiece. You can go all in and create and stunning showstopper or make a simple Ikebana inspired arrangement with Orchids and twisted Witch Hazel branches. So simple yet very effective.
Anything floating creates that magical feel to any table and occasion. I’ve used the Lucie Kaas Leaflike metal leaves and to me, this is such a great way to add that designer’s touch to your festive scenery.
Table Setting Trifecta
So all of these items were thoughtfully selected not to break your holiday budget, They’re festive but yet aren’t specific to the holiday so you can use them all year round, perfect trifecta, right?
