Cole’s Baby Boy Nursery Reveal- One Room Challenge

I am so happy Cole’s nursery is complete and we are in love with it!  His nursery is such a serene, calm spot in our house that is otherwise filled with toys and chaos (and love).  The great thing about his nursery, is unlike the girls room, the nursery should stay clean and organized!  The girls room was pretty much clean only the day of the photo shoot, ha!

This was also my first time participating in the One Room Challenge, six weeks to redo a room.  I loved having a deadline as I tend to procrastinate (example Cole is 9 months old and just got a nursery finally…)

Check out the other one room challenge participants here!

Neutral Rug RoundUp- One Room Challenge (ironically, after having you guys vote on instagram stories, bugging multiple friends, publishing this post to get feedback…I realized I needed a larger rug than all the ones linked so I went with a rug not included, haha)

The quote is from one of our wedding songs, “Your Song”. Nick & I loveeee Moulin Rouge and I was so happy to figure out a quote above his crib that has so much meaning for us as well.

I scored Miffy at Last Chance, a Nordstrom discount store that has lower prices than Nordstrom Rack. The stool is from HomeGoods. Similar stool.

Used some toys to add some pops of color to his room. We have a TON of books in the playroom and the girls room, so I decided not fill it with books and just have a couple books in basket next to chair and a couple in the shelf. (shelf was a HomeGoods find, similar here)

I love this gazelle planter from Anthropologie and adding items to the room that do not scream baby.

The midcentury dresser was a Craigslist find.

I ordered the rainbow mirror during a huge sale at Urban Outfitters, I was SO on fence about it and ready to return when it arrived, but fell in love with it as soon as I received it!

He is too small for the baby swing as of now, but I love it! I originally bought one for my girlfriend a couple months before I knew I was even pregnant. When I saw her using it, I knew I had to get one for Cole, too! I linked to a similar one on etsy, the place I got it from is sold out.
