Today I’m going to show you our latest update from of windows situation in the living room and how you can spunk up your window game.

Energy Efficiency
Did you know, that as much as 50% of your home’s heating and cooling energy can be lost through its windows?
Who doesn’t want to minimize the costs of heating? By utilizing this kind of custom-made window treatment, such as the Duette solution, you can reduce your heating loss by up to 46%.
The single cell construction allows a gentle light to filter in only. This also means that this kind of window treatment will keep your home warm during the winter season and cool in the summer, saving on your energy costs.
The great thing about this kind of blinds is that you can adjust the slats to control light and ventilation.

One of my favourite pieces is this special edition of the Foscarini candle holder with jewel-bright colours. It looks just darling when it reflects the sunbeams on a sunny day – yeah even on a gloomy day.
Lamps
If your window sill is begging for a little vignette why not add a lamp? A lamp will work wonders in the darker evenings and long nights of winter.
This is lamp is designed by one of my favourite Finnish designers, Timo Niskanen.
The sleek, minimalistic LED lamp called LOOP is designed to endure the constantly changing fashion and trends and fits a narrow window just perfectly.
Flowers
A window sill is an obvious place to house a row of plants and the best place for your herb garden as well.
A simple bouquet will do wonders too. Arrange your flowers in a coloured glass vase and enjoy the aesthetic effect of the colours and an instant focal point.
Just mix and match and don’t be afraid to mix up your curiosities and beloved belongings.

Jamen det kan også være en lille udfordring, men altid skønt at se vinduer som rammer; som blot skal tilføres textur dvs. gardiner – især hvis “motivet” dvs. udsigten ikke er så inspirerende, så kan det kræve lidt ekstra af ting, som du placerer i vinduet. Det bedste resultat opnåes altid, når du udvælger de af dine ting, som siger ngt. om dig.
