3 Easy DIY Last-Minute Christmas Decorations

For an easy DIY Tablescape, decorate a serving tray with concrete dipped Hyacinth bulbs. Tuck in boughs of evergreen for a simple yet elegant centrepiece, or simply add a garland of ready-made snowflakes.

Sprinkle mercury glass or glitter on each flower bulb for an extra boost of shine.

DIY Concrete Painted Hyacinth Bulbs

Supplies:

Spraypaint

Hyacinth bulbs

Knife

Mixing container

Ceramix (concrete)

Step 1.

Cut off the roots

Step 2.

Pour the concrete into the mixing container and add water according to the label directions. Dip each bulb in the mix and set to dry (about 15 minutes).

Step 3.

Spray paint the bulbs with metallic paint and set to dry.

Once the new growth is a couple of inches clear of the bulb like pictured, it won’t need any water and they’re ready to be covered in concrete. This means that you can leave your concrete flowers blooming in your window or on a Christmas decorated coatrack.

DIY Christmas Jingle Bell Garland

Supplies:

Bells

Wire

Create this dainty little garland with this embarrassing simple process – and I’m sure you’d want to make miles of it and drape it all over your entire house, right?

Just string the wire through each bell, tying each bell to the wire at 4-inch intervals.

Use your Jingle Bell Garland wrapped around wreaths, the Christmas tree, a mantel, window or railings.
